JulBud Ranch is a personal care brand founded in Huntsville, Utah, in 2020.
Goats born at JulBud Ranch in Huntsville keep their horns. The ranch compares disbudding to declawing a cat, calling it "only a convenience for humans," and on this property the humans lost that argument. The herd page lists five Nigerian Dwarf goats with posted personalities. Daisy "will yell when she wants something." Finnick, a wether, "thinks he's a lap goat."
Craig and Angela Powell married in 2013 and found Ogden Valley on a drive. They filed JulBud Ranch LLC in March 2020. Angela handles most of the business and the animals. Craig works full time off the ranch and builds whatever the place needs built.
The soap starts with goat milk and grass-fed beef tallow, and the ranch says its goat milk powder comes from its own goats or from a supplier, Brambleberry. A line called Novel Soaps takes its names from books, which is how a $6.50 bar came to be called Please Sir, I Want Some More.
In summer 2026 Angela landed her first large wholesale soap order. The ranch's year-end post says the chickens have paid their way in eggs for a couple of years, which sets a high bar for the goats.
JulBud, pronounced Jewel Bud, is named for a grandfather called Julian and a father called Buddy.
