Acrely Farms is a supplement brand founded in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2020.
Acrely Farms has been kicked out of banks, and out of credit card processors too, Sarah Duke said in 2023. That comes with selling CBD from Salt Lake City. Duke had taken one of Utah's first hemp grower licenses after the state legalized production in 2019. In 2020 she invited her longtime friend Britney Beardmore to help with the harvest, and the two started the company that year.
Duke had moved to Utah in 2015 to grow vegetables with the International Rescue Committee's New Roots program. Beardmore worked in medical research at Huntsman Cancer Institute and was following the research on cannabinoids and sleep. Their first product, launched in 2020, was a CBD tincture for sleep. CBG mints came later, for daytime.
The company says the hemp is grown on Utah plots and bottled by hand, and a 2023 state profile said Acrely grows and manufactures in Utah. They ran the business out of their garages until 2023, when they opened a shop at 156 East 900 South in the Maven District. By then the line was also in 60 spa locations across 15 states, which is a long way from a garage.
Acrely Farms' best-selling sleep gummies are made with real strawberry pulp sourced from a winery.
