Eighteen brands on this list, founded from 1975 to 2023. The Salt Lake Valley has the most of them, with 8.
A gift from a Utah brand does not have to cost much. Every brand on this list sells at least one product for under $50 on its own website, going by the prices read for the Beehive Made holiday gift guide. Prices change, so each one below carries the date it was read.
Chums sells its Universal Fit Retainer, a 12.5 inch cord of braided nylon, and it has sewn eyewear straps in Hurricane since 1983. Moab Bag Co cuts its Mini Bike Tube Bag from a used bike tube, so no two match. Voilé designed its nylon buckle strap in Utah in 1984, and one will probably end up holding a tailpipe on by February. GRIP6 builds its belts in Midvale and rates the strap at more than 2,500 pounds of breaking strength.
Not all of these are made here. Petzl is a French company whose North American office is in West Valley City, and Skullcandy, which started in Park City in 2003, sells earbuds with Tile tracking built in for the day one goes missing. Each brand page says which Utah ties apply. A brand drops off this page when its last pick under $50 goes up in price or leaves the guide.
Prices on each brand's own website, read October 12, 2026. The full gift guide
