Utah brands that make everything here

109 brands on this list, founded from 1876 to 2025. The Salt Lake Valley has the most of them, with 48.

Running a company from Utah and making things in Utah are two different claims, and this list takes only the second. Traeger runs its pellet grill business from Salt Lake City, but its annual report says about 80 percent of its grills come from outside manufacturers in China. Every brand below carries the Made in Utah tag, and none of its Quick facts says part of the line comes from somewhere else.

ULA Equipment says it cuts and sews all of its backpacks in its Logan shop, where it started in 2001. Chums still makes its eyewear straps in Hurricane, as it has since 1983. Wilson Audio builds its loudspeakers at its own factory in Provo. Taffy Town makes its taffy in West Jordan, pickle flavor included. Lehi Mills has milled flour in Lehi since April 1906.

Brands whose answer says only part of the line is made here sit on the broader Made in Utah page instead. Black Diamond is one of them. In 2019 it turned its Salt Lake City factory into an assembly plant and moved its metal machining overseas. This list is worked out from each brand's Quick facts at every build, so it changes when an answer does.
